Accreditation

Legacy Collegiate Studies often receives questions about our accredited degrees. Here are answers to some of the inquiries we receive about accreditation.

The staff at Legacy Collegiate Studies assist students in earning a fully-accredited degree from another non-affiliated institution; Legacy Collegiate Studies is not the accrediting institution.

Regional Accreditation vs. National Accreditation

Regional accreditation is the highest possible level of accreditation. Regionally-accredited schools usually focus on academics, while nationally-accredited schools are often geared toward vocational, career, or technical programs. Since regional accreditation consists of higher educational standards, credit from nationally-accredited school often is not recognized and cannot be transferred to a regionally-accredited school.

Will Employers Accept This Degree?

Employers frequently seek employees who are disciplined and have proven their discipline and diligence. A degree can thus act as a gate pass by confirming someone's dedication to the challenging task of earning a bachelor's degree. An accredited degree verifies the credibility of a student's education. Since regional accreditation is the highest possible level of accreditation, it is the most highly recognized form of degree. In the workplace, this degree is recognized as legitimate.
